SCORE Southern Nevada Chapter 243, Las Vegas

SCORE offers the business and non-profit communities a variety of speakers to address business related topics.

The Chapter has a collection of one hour long presentations given since 2002. Titles include: “Financing Your Business”, “Business Bad Debt Avoidance” and “What SCORE and the SBA can do for You”. The sponsoring organization can select the titles of interest to their audience and the Speakers Bureau presents using visual materials as needed. These re-creations of speeches can be done with little advance notice and for a very low price.

Our Chapter offers free and fee based standard seminars such as the “Simple Steps series”, (see “seminars”) on a regular basis. These seminars can be customized to differing lengths between 1 ½ to 3 hours to meet your organizations needs. The standard fees are reduced depending on the audience and if the organization which is engaging SCORE wishes the full set of participant materials and/or customized handouts.

For the organization with special requirements, SCORE offers development of custom themes, materials and speeches with additional detail and for varying lengths. Companies and associations, which wish to make a special impact, are the typical clients the Speakers Bureau has served with this offering. These presentations are usually proprietary to the contracting organization and can take up to four months to develop. SCORE does ask for a donation from the organization when these speeches are contracted.

SCORE is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit and provides low-income individuals in the Las Vegas area with free trainings in addition to free consultations. For governmental units, startup organizations, local non-profits and service clubs, the Speakers Bureau provides the full range of presentations without charge and has been doing so since the founding of SCORE Southern Nevada Chapter 243 in 1977.
